Catholic Social Teaching:
Living a womb to tomb lifestyle
“Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed”, (Psalm 85:10) As Catholics we have been entrusted with the high calling of respecting the life and dignity of every single human person at all states of life.  Furthermore we are challenged to view each person as a gift no matter how contrary to popular opinion this may seem.   The difficulty in a sometimes polarized world is not only advocating for one, or a select few of the parts of social teaching, but to live out the richness of the entirety of the teachings, which is necessary to preserve true dignity.  Dividing the work and not the church is an approach practiced to cooperate with goodwill at all costs.  Key questions reflected on will be, who is being neglected, are we in relationship with them, and how do we respond?
